Default S2Pro and Mac OSX

Hi,

Am considering diving into the world of DSLR. While S2Pro is my favoured choice, am concerned about Fuji's software compatibility with Macs after reading some not too good reports on the internet.

Appreciate if anyone can comment on the compatibility of OSX Panther with FinePix Viewer, RAW Converter LX/EX.

Thanks

everything works with Jaguar, but with Panther, everything works except the shooting software.

and the finepix viewer at times may not install properly, it will break into about 4-5 files then the process will stop.

what you need to do is this.

each of those files are actually zip files and just in different languages (eng, chinese, jap etc etc...), just drop them on the "dropstuff" and they will uncompress.

try all of the, till you find the english language version

the PROPER way to make it uncompress properly is to put the dropstuff program... SOMEWHERE, I can't remember. The problem here occurs because the fuji installer actually looks for that file to use it for decompression, if it can't locate it where it thinks it should be, the installation process will just run 1/2 way

cheers
