Hi All,
I am getting the Jello Effect on D90 simply by focusing in and out when using the 50 mm. Does anyone encounter this before? I thought this only happens when you zoom in and out. Any way to overcome, minimise it? Thanks. |

many names for it. One term is also called 'rolling shutter'. Video image moves from left to right (much like a jelly) when you are doing zoom/ focus... |

dont view it on the camera's LCD. View it on the big screen.

Big screen just makes it worse.
You may have to get a contraption to help with the focus pulling. D90's rolling shutter effects is very easy to set off. |
