Cf card prop on D300 ! Help needed

Just got 1 D300
Came with a kingston cf 133X card 8gb
But can't seems to have it format.
any help pls

sure u can format on your D300 body.
but it's the new card, sure u need to do format before shooting photo.

Format (Delete + Mode)

Hold the Delete and Mode (top right of camera) buttons simultaneously for approximately two seconds for a shortcut to format the Compact Flash card, the camera first blinks 'For' on the top display and you must release the buttons and press once more to confirm the card format.

Yup,done that as mention on the menu.
But nothing happen
And @ the right hand concer keep flashing FEE

ok.. encountered this problem with kingston cards b4. if you can't format it in ur cam, try using ur PC to format. keep the file format as FAT.encountered twice on the same day for me with my fren's oly.

Yes,but am not sure if get what i mean.
And your 2n link is the sams as what you mention on your 1st reply.
I want to format then cf card,tired then mode+delete method.
Do not work ! And it keep flashing FEE on the top screen.

yap, i just review my cam, u open menu, SETUP MENU , did u see Format Memory Card??

yes, u also can follow using the PC to format.
