i am saddened to discover that nikon d60 does not have a compatable cable release remote.
This proves to be quite a problem when using bulb mode for long exposure.. I did not buy the ML-L3 wireless remote, but will i be able to control the opening and closing of shutter with the remote in bulb mode? (press once to open and press once more to close?) Cause currently I have to keep my finger on the button to keep the shutter open! looking stupid with my finger on it for a min is acceptable if i can stop myself from shaking the camera!! or are there 3rd party gadgets that can control the opening and closing of shutter in my D60? Help!! ![]() |

Buy the ML-L3 remote. Press once to open, press again to close as you mentioned.

Yup. you answered your own question. press once to open, another time to close. You do not have to buy the nikon one. There are tons of 3rd party china made ones out there. Going for cheap. It is just a simple IR remote and can be easily copied. If you have a universal TV remote lying around, and it is the type that can 'learn', you can use that too!
