    Came across this on Dpreview, remarkable color photos taken in Russia by Prokudin-Gorsky around 1909.

    Only until I read the articles somewhat in the middle then I realise why he has to take photo with very static look.
    This guy is extremely persistent, having to take 3 exposure with different colour filter and then having to develop taking 3 times the effort of b/w to produce colour!
