Recently while browsing some DIY site i came across a simple method to build your own flash diffuser. The cost to build is close to zero for some people. Check it out here
Put some ciggs inside and fire, maybe the heat from the flash can ignite the ciggies.
Very very Creative !!! Bravo
like that also can? wah, some ppl are just too creative!
wah! so creative..
would like to see the result between the cigarette box and the pop-up diffuser.

There are so many things you can use as a flash diffuser. I had ever use envelopes as a flash diffuser for my camera pop up flash as a last minute solution, and the result is much better than using direct flash. Of course not very elegant.
Experiment or trial and error different materials. You may find some good diffuser from some unlikely materials.

One layer of any clean tissue, wrapped around the flash and the end stuffed into the gap below flash bulb. 10 seconds and great results, even in portrait orientation.
donno wat to say, anything is posibe mah. but this way also can, walau eh.
thanks.. now i know wot to do with the empty boxes of akomoto in my room!
Recently I have read in one of the photography magazine where they suggested to use those semi translucent white colour milk bottles. Cut off the top where it is narrower, and tape the bottom half onto the the flash. Think the effect is just as good.
