Err.... why did you paid $8 ??

I saw it at Woodlands Causeway Point and paid only $6 by NETS on the 1st day of release....

    totally agree.

i don't think there's even a plot to begin with. human acting is bad but the CGI is damn good. also, there are a few corny jokes to pepper the movie. other than that... it's purely for the CGI.

i hope G.I. Joe does not disappoint though...

My Gosh, all these posts and only one commented on "military hardware porn"
Didn't you people realised that it's not the CGI that you wanna watch but the
fact that Michael Bay's movies are very close knitted with the US Military and
it's just a showcase of their hardware? Betcha you guys didn't catch the credits
side cause they outright showed on the screen all military hardware seen in the
    movie (names only of course)

Honestly, I was sitting throughout the movie and look at all the tanks, guns,
ships, planes etc. My friend commented it's more like a military documentary.
While another just commented "That's Linkin Park right?"

But whatever the case is, if you have the $$ then spend the $$ to be entertained
without thinking much and just be bombarded by explosion for approx 1 hour,
    the rest are dialogs.

I'm not sure if you guys noticed something.
I'm based in Bangkok, and the whole theatre laughed during a scene.

At the construction site near the pyramid, you can actually see the big big machine's "balls" hanging, before it move towards the pyramid.

Well, in case you didn't notice, the US carrier has a death ray thing that blows the giant Constructicon into bits. Now, that seriously don't fit in; the director just want cook up some thing to end it.

But at least something fits, they do their showdown in the same location with palm tree. And the good guys are still intact after a whole swam of bad robots attacked a handful of good robots. Cartoon always have the same thing.
