Is there anywhere I can find samples of pictures taken with the built-in flash (of the A1) compared to those taken with an external flash (eg 3600HS)?
Just sold a 2nd hand 3600HS which I bought earlier to a collegue (at no loss ). Still thinking if I will (ever) need it. Do you guys find the built-in (pop up) one good enuf for most occasion? |

I'll post some this evening. Got a 3600HS(D) flash, so should make a good comparison. Want bounced shots or straight on ones?

Thank you ... I am interested to find out the difference as well, since am also considering whether or not to get a 3600 HS flash for my A1.

If u shoot people a lot, then an external flash is very helpful, especially under low light.... the external flash does offer u a lot more options...

but remember, regardless of which 'D' flash you use, the AF assist on the external flash will not fire and take part in the lens focusing.
