It seems like you want an experience cameraman rather than assistant. Years of experience, really? If they have years and still assisting, I won't hire them. Just my take.

would be useful if mention,
type of video camera to be used (consumer camcorder or prosumer) static or run and gun? does cameraman need to do any Post work? length of employment and remuneration? type of production whether studio or fieldwork? If post the above may get actual cameraman rather then simply camera operators.
