Default Cambodian Cultural Village @ Siam Reap?

Hi guys,

Am planning my trip to siam reap.

There's 1 extra day to spend in my schedule beside visits to the Angkor temples, Tonle Sap and Day in a life village tour.

The tour guide suggest my last day to visit the silk farm, artisan angkor and cambodian cultural village. not sure if these places are worth visiting.

any advise or comments from u guys?

thank you

The silk farm and artisan angkor are quite common stops in a tour, if you have the time, it wouldn't hurt to pay a visit.

I'm not sure if there are other branches, but the one i visited, the silk farm was next to the artisan angkor, so its actually a convienent single stop.

For me, the tour was educational in that we were taken through the whole process of silk making before being brought to the artisan gift shop. It does have the effect of convicing you of the premium prices in that shop. If I remember correctly, credit cards are accepted.

Here is the link to artisan angkor, I do see it as a worthy cause.
