Default Sony PMW-EX3

I've just bought the above camera but there seems to be a problem viewing the recorded files. The clip browser software was installed but it prompted "incomplete clip exists. please execute salvage operation in your camera".0

Is there any other easier way to view/capture the clips?

Another thing is, when i view the SxS cards, there are multiple folders that have running numbers and a MP4 file in them, is there a way to pause recording with having the camera generating individual folders??

Sounds like u copied the mp4 directly and tried to open with clipbrowser.

Chk if:
EX3 can view the files directly?
Connect EX3 via USB to Mac/PC and open clipbrowser to view files
or
Load SxS cards to old Macbook Pro with expresscard (drivers must be installed)
