Default Bug macros from SBG ...

Hi All,

Haven't posted here for a long time. Got chance to test out pre-production Pentax new K-7 camera over the weekend. Took some bug macros at the SBG.

Here are some of them, all taken w/ a manual 100mm macro lens w/ flash. Hope you like some of them.

Captured quite a few...but flash is abit harsh. Try to diffuse it some.

Like your 1st picture even though the bee back was facing the camera as I can understand the extreme difficulties encountered in super-fast auto-focusing with a Macro lens. Thus getting a super sharp with great details shot is a great achievement.

Thanks for your comment. I feel the flash is abit too harsh too. Need to diffuse it a bit more next time

I used manual focus, flash, aperture set to F8, ISO200, spot metering, handheld chasing the bee ...

I love the Bee picture the most. Although you only got the back, I see it as its doing what it's suppose to do. The composition gave it a very dramactic look. ^^v
