Thread: Turf club

    Default Turf club

Has anybody tried photography at the Singapore Turf club during one of the horce races? Is it worth it?

Also, Singapore is a very safe place, but is there any specific concern if one is in the public grandstand with expensive camera/lenses?

    Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks.

haha...thanks. I guess my 100-400 zoom should work. It is a great lens for outdoor & wildlife.

Only issue is that it is not a fast lens which is essential for 'freezing motion' like these races - so either (i) the ISO will have to be bumped up tremendously at night OR (ii) I will have to go during the daytime, when there is more light.

I guess I will go for the latter.
