Your captures of the bee in flight are one of the best i've seen so far. Great focus on the flying bee. I've tried shooting them before and i know how difficult it is to get the correct focus. You nailed it bro ! Good job !

thanks everyone for your comments.
i was using a pentax K20D & tamron 90mm. didn't manage to get quite close enough, but the 14.6MP allowed me to crop quite heavily. will try to attempt more in-flight macros, they are certainly much harder to accomplish than co-operative stationary insects. |

![]() yup flash was used to freeze the bee in flight. was testing out my flash bracket at this shoot. just upgraded it yesterday, got to test it out again. |
