you should state canon D60..(i presume it is since u stated it's an old model)

tried it before, and it works perfectly once you know how to use it.

Nikon D60 is cool. It is my current camera now happy user. Still trying to "understand" it and make full use of it. Perhaps pushing its envelope...

Bought one with kit lens last month. Very small and light and loving it. Took some raw images and processed them in Photoshop. Good colours! Here's some samples:

#1 Using the macro mode on the kit lens

#2 Just the ordinary kit lens

    #3 Pano at Boat Quay

#4 Finally one shot in Raw and PP

Wow real nice colours there, did you PP the colours or as shot?

    I have a D60 and have gotten a Tamron 17-50mm f2.8 and loving it...

Dejavu, yup all photos post-processed in Photoshop Elements. First three taken in JPEG while the last one in RAW. The colours taken in JPEG seem to be nicer (to me at least) than the one in RAW. Maybe I'm still new to RAWprocessing.

I have both the D40 & D60. Nothing wrong with either or.
I have shot weddings and have great results.
Dont be so down on yourself.
If you take great shots thats all that matters.
Learn your camera inside out before you do aquire any clients.

I'm using a D60 Kit now. Still lamenting over Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 or Nikkor AF-S 35mm f/1.8 DX for night photography..but leaning towards the Tamron...

The D60 is a simple and good camera that I have used for many situations such as events, concerts and weddings. The battery life is good too ! ^^
