It's a very sharp shot where the antennae are almost in focus as well. What was the aperture used?

Did u use flash for this shot.. I find that they usually fly away with the PreFlash of my 420EX...

Good observation. Even if they don't fly away, Skippers and a few other species of butterflies tend to be disturbed by the camera's flash. I've got some shots where they react to the flash and flap their wings in a fraction of a second creating a blur, which spoilt the shots.
