finally got a replacement for my 15yr old Spartan... the Victorinox Picnicker. Similar features as the previous knife, but this one has a single large (very large) lock bldade. i never really used the small blade on the spartan.
here's to another 15 years of use!
I always thought we cannot even keep replica at home.
Any idea how much it costs for the Highlander Conner Katana at Casear?
THink i saw something similar a few years back at ~USD150.
Actually more interested to find the 赤劍 and 雪飲狂刀.
You should try visiting http://www.wellingtonsurplus.com.au/
Got a lot of swords and knifes there.
Too bad I can't bring back...

Please clarify if you have the license/permit to import. Otherwise, the sword will be confisicated at customs even though we paid you for it.

have to apply the license or can bring hand carry and when arrived at the airport custom have to declare to the custom and they gonna inspect on it.
but its to risk if they not allow.
btw i am not a vendor just a bit share that i can help to import the real sharp one from my country.i know person who can supply hand forged sword (replica).
coz i also wanna buy and bring here but a bit risk coz the one at caesars a bit expensive for me.
anyone wanna sell?
Thanks for the clarification. So to be clear you do not have the ability to bring the sword past customs. In other words, 3 things can happen.
1. We declare the weapon. Since nobody has the permit, it gets confisicated, we don't get to see it.
2. We don't declare the weapon. It gets found out in the x-ray, the weapon gets confisicated, we get jail.
3. You imported the sword without a license. You get jail too.
However, I will consider buying from you if it's a viable legal business (COD). Why don't you try to import some past customs and see what happens.
It's actually quite easy to import a real sword. Ebay has tons of these & many are replicas from China for a fraction of the real thing. Otherwise, there are specialists in these fields. Christies used to have auctions on some of these fine works.
I've not visited the Firearms department for a long time now but they used to cut the blade to a very short few inches then return it to you & sometimes they will allow you to keep it behind locked cabinet @ home.
They are just worried that people use it as weapons rather than appreciation. They had some cabinets displaying some of those that they confiscated over the years.
There was a beautiful ivory scabbard katana in one of our museum.

I would like to import a Samurai Sword. How can I go about importing it?
You can import a Samurai sword through a forwarding agent, who should declare it through the Tradenet system. For more details, please log on to https://www.tradexchange.gov.sg. You may be required to bring the sword to a police station for inspection before an import licence can be issued. If it is hand carried, you should declare it to the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority at the point of entry. The sword may be impounded for inspection and you can claim it from the Police Station which has jurisdiction over the entry point. Please note that if you are allowed to possess the sword, it must be kept in a dwelling house and not to be carried in any public place without any lawful purpose.
