Default How to use the Colored Flash Diffuser

I notice there are Yellow and Blue colored diffusers other than the common White one. What are the usage and how to use?

the idea is adjust the colour temperature of your flash either by warming it up (yellow-ish) or cooling it down (blue).. for example, if you're shooting in warm tungsten lighting, you would pop on the yellow-ish one and set the WB to tungsten, to get a better balance between the flash exposure and your ambient exposure..
