Default A1 in stores

Anyone knows if Best Denki or Harvey Norman sells the A1? Any idea what's the price?

Might as well get it from AP, MS Color or CP. A hell lot cheaper and you can get other accessories in a bundle too.

TRUE...No point getting from those chaps like Best or Harvey. They are basically box pushers and cannot do much to assist you if you run into any problems except refer you to the manufactuers...

only difference is these shops (harvey & denki) have some 0% installment schemes for some credit cards. my friend bought a C5050Z from them too. I think can pay in 12 installments.

Installment - that is the problem. If you are buying a model just in market, you can go for these shops. If you are eyeing an older model, better off buying from a camera shop. Some of the older model are refurbished (i.e. some1 can't pay the installment, the shop take back and touch it up a bit and sell to others.)

yeah, i did check wif harvey norman. the price difference (wif ppl like MS), you could easily buy another battery (or more). but for some people who prefer to pay by installments, maybe they should consider DNEXUS (http://shop.d-nexus.com/) ... seems a bit cheaper.

Default 0% Installment

Guys, many shops in SIM LIM offer 0% installment through DBS / POSB / Diners credit cards. MS Color have Diners 0% but they charge 4% extra for that. I checked with Diners Club, they said they don't charge anything. So you can bargain to waive that extra charges.

Diners is a credit card, so must be charging something. I would believe they don't excharge extra for installament, but the usage of card itself will incur a charge. Also, processing a installament do take some extra effort than just a standard transaction, guess MS Color is charging for those.
