Using iPhone 2G and updated to OS 3.0 early this morning. Everything went fine. No problems except the usual non-jailbreak issues like no bossprefs to turn off edge, no cydia etc. Everything else seem to work fine so far except for:

    1. MMS - don't work for me. I am using Starhub btw. Tried sending but never receive.
    2. YouTube - not working at all.

Not really a deal breaker for me. Love the new landscape keyboard and how the messaging app is more intuitive than before i.e. can forward, copy and delete individual SMS. Copy and paste really helps cos I am using notes on the iphone. Spotlight search rocks!

    Hope that helps.

Updated on my iPhone 3G. Works well so far. New features like direct call from contact numbers in sms is also in this update. Youtube works w/o issues.

Have yet to try MMS as I seldom do MMS anyway.

I want the 32Gb one. What should I do? Pretty sure Starhub cannot get the rights already and singtel launching it in July 19 or there abouts.

Overall, I have no qualms on the new OS 3.0. It still puts my bro's Samsung Omnia 8GB to its own corner.

I just collected my new iPhone 3GS (paid only S$178 after trading in Omnia for $400 and $100 voucher).

I was supposed to collect on 11th sat at 10AM. Thinking that there will be long queue I went on 11th sat (today) at 4AM to queue. To my surprise no queue except for those who are of the previous day (10th fri) who haven't finished their collected yet. So i requested the officials to allow me only to collect my iPhone also since I am only one there so early already. And to my surprise they let me in, even though they were closing all counter already. All the part time staffs look soooo shagged.

Then I collected my new toy, trad in my old toy, got $30 voucher with which I bought anti-glare screen protector, took the first MRT home. Now at home sync-ing all my apps from iTunes.

I wish to thank those staffs who let me in, else I got to wait 5Hours in queue.

All the best for those who are going today and tomorrow.
