Default Bagman bags

My aunt is asking what size of CA-11 to get for me.
I honestly have no idea how big these bags are.
Though I've seen a picture of the large one, and I don't think its for me.
Since I'm just a noob.

I only have, well of course, my dslr - 1000d. Then flash diffuser,
and a converter lens. That's all. And maybe I do need some space
for my wallet. And that's all?

Is the medium one similar to the 5MDH?

It's similar but feels REALLY crappy compared to crumpler.Almost no padding too and is of course, really ugly IMHO.

U can always head down to their office to take a look.
The one shown in the picture is the medium 1.
Padding wise i think is ok. If u got the cash can always go for crumpler. Else imho the bagman is a decent bag.

Wasnt really looking for a bag but got a good price from uncle so why not. This is the Medium one configured for general use.

What i can say is this bag for its size can really pack a lot of gear and if not watching what you are packing can be very very heavy especially if you are the type who simply feels the need to fill up the space as much as possible..

It also looks like a good everyday bag too. i will be posting a more detailed review soon.

not to put down these bags, but a bit of history and FYI for you guys,

the founders of Bagman are actually some staff who got retrenched from Crumpler. and they are outta job, kind of "founded" Bagman and decided to rip off the designs off Crumpler but really didnt work it out.

the logo design was ripped off, and colour schemes are somewhat similar.

recently, they wanted to hold a design competition in NYP, and when initially it didnt take off because of some reasons, they were seen hanging around in the canteen looking for students to help them design their new bag.

speaking of marketing without even legal school permission.

i am a proud owner of 3 crumpler bags, and i must say the quality i paid for is really good, the sponges are still thick and the interior compartments too ! the zips are still "zippy and smooth"

put it this way. we can tell its a rip off, but unless you are in serious need of a bag and want it fancy, and have a super tight budget, other wise i would still recommend Lowepro or even Crumpler.... and since its a everyday thing, u wouldnt want to buy a product that is not of that good quality, that wears fast, and who knows one day when the bag decides to give way.....

I don't know about the history but Bagman bags to me are of good quality and nice looking. They do their job without looking like a camera bag. I have a few bags and pouches and in fact just bought 2 more at the recent PC Show as they are way cheaper than lowepro/crumpler, looks good and feels good too.

as long these bags from crumpler, lowepro and etc dont use climbing grade metal d rings, its an accident waiting to happen if you frequently overload your shoulder bag with gear as well as fix a tripod harness as well.

here is my review, http://www.clubsnap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=532409

the bagman`s functionality is pretty good. Its compartment design gives it a few advantage over other brands when it comes to having things where you want it to be.

the bag price is also very reasonable for a product of china. I know people who have cut their crumpler "Made In" labels unless it says Made in Australia.
