I realised that my Lexar SDHC4 Platinum II 60x 4GB card when held by the edges and shake, it feels like there is something moving around inside it.
It doesn't happen with my Sandisk card. If you have the same card, can you help me check if this is normal? I am wondering if something came loose inside... Thanx in advance. |

Could be the flash chip dislodged inside, but it shouldn't pose any problems.
Mine doesn't make any sound though.

SD/SDHC card consist of two types of micro chips: one - controller, another - flash memory. I don't think it will continue to function if either one of them came loose. Perhaps there is a piece of broken plastic inside if your card is still working? Better check with lexar dealer and see if they will exchange it with a new card.

I think I am overly sensitive. It works perfectly, maybe its the whole thing shaking slightly inside the plastic casing. Only when hold it in a certain way and shake then can feel it.
