CK, why do you want to know? Planning a break in or what?

I'll be away with my wife to HK in the first week of May. Naturally I'll be bringing my camera along. But you can steal the fish tank.

    Regards,
    Sion

well, if its a matter of spending over several years, 15K isn't so bad. I mean, you spend 80K on a car or 800K for a condo without even batting an eyelid.
    What's 15K in comparison ?

I've been dabbling in photography since 1992, and in total I'm pretty sure I've spend over 15K too - 2 SLRs, bunch of lenses, several flashes, tons of slide film and processing, point & shoots, camera bags, DSLR and a prosumer digicam, XSDrive, CF cards, etc. The digital stuff alone is already at least 4K.

But I'm afraid to calculate the actual amount... I might want to kill myself

Too damned much, I reckon. I can't even remember what I paid for most my equipment. Too bad money spent not = quality of pictures...or photographer.
