Default IR trial with newly mod D50

Got back my D50 from David today. Very nice and efficent guy indeed. Tried some shots around my place.. I am very happy with the results though I think I still need to play around with the exposure combinations(today's weather too bad for outdoor).. Thank you for your help!!!! The camera's focus shift is not a problem. I think the nikon D50 kit len performs better..

All shots taken at ISO200 with D50 modded with ELP.. Basic processing done..

Taken while I was on my way back home in a fast moving cab...

You must be really busy. No time to check the camera on the spot, no time to come out of the station, shooting inside a cab.

Thank you very much.
Nice shoots by the way.

Hahaha... I should thank you for helping me and churchwolf to mod our cameras.. I shouldnt be so busy today but my VCR player brokedown yesterday... And there's no more VCR player in the market.. in the end decided to get a hubstation tat can record shows instead.. All for the sake of my mum... So no choice... And it rained heavily in the west today.. I can only do some test shots from my house... hahaha..

Yes.... I took more test shots around my workplace and force my colleague to be my model haha... I can just say I love my D50 IR camera.... Definitely will be doing more IR photos when I am free...

I find this so final fantasy feel...

A very beautiful sunset evening while on my way to the MRT station.. but not so nice in IR I guess?

View from my office...

Biopolis Phase III from my office.. my colleagues said this processing looked like post apocalyptic site.. I do agree..

Standard tree photo... haha... I guess I am not daring enough with PS processing...

last 5 photos are very sharp, what lens you use. Look like D50 and D70s and D70 are very good to take IR photo. I am going to get a D50 to mod to take IR photo.

I use mostly my Tamron 17-50mm F2.8(shots 2-4) or the Nikon Kit lens 18-55mm F3.5-5.6... Aperture usually around F5.6-6.3. Then exposures between 1/40-1/160, ISO 200 - 400 depending on weather. But I personally think the Nikon kit len performs best as my tammy F2.8 tend to give a brighter spot in the middle of the photos for certain shots...

I tried using my Tamron 18-250mm F3.5-6.3 to do some test shots and all of them are so wrong tone... See this example.. It feels like "got shadows" and very "artificial".. I donna how to describe...

Anyone has comments why this photo turns out like this?
