May be for those shoot out / competition, should propose to the organizers to sub divide the group into those with extra barangs like strobe and those with just the basic set cam + housing (and perhaps framer) only.

This would pitch the FUJI apples against their own peers (fellow FUJI apples) than just apples with apples. Just to be fair.

usually, you only join if you have all the equipment on hand.
If not, don't join loh, HUGE disadvantage.

normally, they have just slide , digital, novice and intermediate sections. Anyone who has won anything in any competition is considered intermediate, so lanxx, u are that section, while the rest of us are novices

but really, dun think there will be a segregation btw strobe and no strobe....people dun really care what equipment u use, it's the end result, just like there DSLR and normal DC still falls under the digital category.

hasnt he always been? ^_^ always helping out on uw photography qtns, and especially on equipment part also ... me still half about strobes

I only shoot MMII on film . Digital greenhorn here. BTW, lanxx, u have not given me the Jap website.
