donno how u ppl use MD, i have had no problem with 340MB for almost two years. Dont drop it, otherwise... For its price, i would say it's a good buy.

how long is the warranty for MD anyway?

i will use it as temp portable storage....faster than burning a CD.....so CF is more suitable for me

if MD also have 3 yrs warranty like IDE HDD...then i may consider...

Dont remember how long the warranty is. But for sure not 3 yrs 1-1 exchange type. 1GB is better in consuming less power and generating less heat.

As long as u stay in the 4MP zone u should be fine. But with a 6MP camera like a D60, u will need it !!! budgetting lense + MD for my future D60....yum yum....
