Default Kids Part II (Innocence)

Went streetshooting with the bois, chaotic, djChris, gremlin, Newbie123 to Bugis Junction to capture the famous fountain + kids.

Happened to go down to esplanade, caught a flower girl and a candid in the durian shell. Found dust on my CCD sigh. Somehow it dissappeared, hopefully it doesn't come back.

Shots are taken with AF-S 24-120 + torchlight (except last two).

Critiques and comments are welcome.

great captures i notice that a majority of the shots are taken at long(er) range. did your subject know they were being photographed?

Hi, thanks for the comments

Yes, they knew that they were being shot, and being kids they just carry on with what they were doing.

Except the flower girl, she was posing for the camera (of the bridegroom/bride's)

I used long range because I didn't want to get wet by the fountain, else I would have gladly used a 50mm to shoot

Thanks Keep them coming

Nice candid shots - I like the way to captured the kid's expression in your Gotcha shot

Was wondering about your "torchlight" setup - how does it work? What difference does it make and wouldn't it draw the subject's attention?
