![]() Anyone know which bird the brown nest belongs to? The green one is the baya weaver's nest. |

Both belong to the same species, the Baya Weaver (Ploceus philippinus). The nest on the left is a completed one....the grass blades has dried hence the brownish colour. The one on the right is still in process of building by one of the males.

It could possibly be an unfinished/abandoned nest also...have seen many unfinished ones hanging around such trees too.

These are Baya Weaver nest. They are workin very hard to complete this. This experience lot of truble in making there hots
|

same bird species, jsut that the grasses dried up hence become brown. Many nest uncompleted due to the females not liking the nest the males made so they just stop
|

Well, I was wondering how the bird is going to live in a nest with just a perch...
