Description:
minolta himatic 7 rangefinder camera. essentially same as himatic 7s, just that it does not have a flash hotshoe.

lens is in pristine condition. all shutter speeds accurate. aperture and focusing ring smooth. rangefinder accurate. viewfinder clean and clear.

meter is working, but the issue is that in low light conditions, the meter needs to be pointed to a light source (or any light condition above EV9-10) before it is activated. thereafter it meters accurately. in outdoor daylight (where conditions are typically above EV9-10) there will be no problems.

the other issue is that the film advance returns to the base position (after being film advanced) slowly. personally i just guide it back to base position. it's advancing film properly though.

hence due to these inconveniences, i'm offering at extremely low price.

in full manual mode camera works perfectly. in auto mode the inconvenience is stated above. cosmetically camera is condition 10.

forgot to mention - comes with very nice condition (exteriorly) original case. however, the foam on the inside top of minolta cases are made of foam that is not good quality - it disintegrates over time and will dirty camera. would not recommend using the case (unless you clean out the 2 pieces of foam), but will include for completeness.
