I find the pics are quite soft, and the background on the first pic is quite distracting too...

thanks for the comment, i too agree that the pics are quite soft, i also realised that the pics showed here, via ImageStation is a bit softer than the original: http://www.geocities.com/gps73/red_flower_01.jpg http://www.geocities.com/gps73/purple_flower.jpg anyone knows why? thanks....

Also, you should try a smaller apperture.. I believe f4.5 is too shall a DOF.. Just my guess...
