Streaks of vertical lines on view finder

Just saw few vertical streaks of lines in the view finder. The lines are quite visible only during the focusing stage but disappears shortly, however the pixs looks ok. Is there anything wrong wif the view finder or sensor ? Has anyone encountered this problem before ? The camera in question is the LX 3.

Nth wrong with ur camera; this symptom is normal for most cameras.
