Default My lucky birding day part 2

1)White throat kingfisher, very timid bird, have a hard time shooting her.


2)Pacific swallow(hope I get the name correct)


3)Fisherman and his boat


4)Will someone untie the rope?So i can go fishing!

Yes Pacific Swallow and the fisherman is a Grey Heron.

Juvenile White Bellied Sea Eagle caught a big fish and having a hard time going airborne.

I was standing on the slope when the Terns landed not far away.

Went to the reservoir just now @ 6pm and saw a adult WBSE in action.
Too bad it was in the middle of the reservoir.But did get a few near fill frame shot when it flew by with dinner.

Today afternoon went further upstream near private housing to shoot,
saw this bird up in the tree, can help identify?

Wow ! Very nice captures
its a Dollar Bird... maybe a juvenile? They are usually quite skirtish - staying very high up in trees and far away... so very good to get such a close up shot of it... is it 'resident' there?

Thanks limmick for the bird id.I remember someone did post this bird but can't find the thread.
It was sitting quite high, I need to add 1.4 TC on 400mm to get the shot.Need to go another time to see whether it's still there. Private estate +($)Dollar Bird = Rich
Think I need to shoot a million time of the ($)Dollar bird to become millionaire.
