HI, what's the difference between the KB-0 and B-0 heads?

Hi mm63,

Basically, the B-series is a slight improvement on the KB-series design with the various knobs repositioned on the head to allow for better packing when attached to a tripod.

Both the KB-series and B-series are equally effective at offering the same degree of precise control, as well as accurate panoramas with the graduated panning scale.

With regard to monopods, we have aluminium (MP-series) & carbon fibre (MC-series) versions. These monopods have a rated max weight load ranging from 8kg (MP-63 = $60, MC-63 = $130) up to 25kg (MP-98 = $115, MC-98 = $275)

Unfortunately I'm not able to access the so called "specs" info on the site. None of the models come out - only the series like "aluminum, carbon, carbone versatile" etc.

If you do revisit this thread, could you recommend me a tripod setup for a pro series camera (which I'm going to upgrade to) with a canon 70-200 and flash, setup about 3.5 to 4 kg. I want something that's compact (most important) yet sturdy with no flex in the legs. How about your travel angle series? What are their specs?

How much will it be as a package including the tripod bag and Benro Generation II J series Quick Release Plate II?

Travel load is less than 5kg in total.

FIRDIE -- The 40D + 16-35mm f2.8 L is around 1.5-1.6kg right? Either a A200 + BH-0, or A250 + BH-0 package can meet your needs.

However, if you plan to upgrade to a 70-200mm IS f2.8L in the future, consider getting at least the A300 + BH-0 or A350 + BH-0 packages? (max load = 4kg) 40D + 70-200mm f2.8 + 580EX II (if you want to mount flash) = 2.9-3.0kg


casio -- All Benro tripod heads can be fitted on to Benro monopods. However, the Benro DJ-80 ($60) is specifically designed for monopod use. More info:
