They have the G0-G0, ORIGINAL, SLR, SLR-ZOOM and FOCUS.
ORIGINAL is for P&S, SLR should fit your 450D with kit lens. However, if you ever going to buy a bigger zoom, perhaps the SLR-ZOOM is a better deal.

Hi, I bought a mini pod to stick to my TZ7 to hold the camera while shooting video/still pictures as a stabilizer.
A gorilla pod is good for sticking in the car, bench with railings to hold the pod, etc. CP gorillas are easier to bend than those selling elsewhere. |

I'm using the SLR zoom. Got it at $90 from CP.
Would say its very firm. Stable and grip on railings, chairs are solid. Even twisted my D90 to an acute angle. Each twist and turn is on its own. Would recommend for food shots or table shots. I'm impressed. ![]()

Get the SLR Zoom would be better. There's the Gorilla Ball head with the bubble level for the SLR Zoom. Comes with a quick release plate too.
