Default Infrared Sunflower

Unfortunately this time of year it is cloudy most of the time which is not that great for IR shots but I have a couple of new ones. This is my favorite- a sunflower just starting to open up its first petals. For processing (which is key on this one) I used a Photoshop plugin called Color Efx Pro from Nik Filters. The particular one I used is a Cross Process- like taking slide film and processing it as if it were a color negative film- it changes the colors in an image. In this case E6 processing to C41 processing. That gave me the great colors and then I just did some fine tuning of the colors in Photoshop. I love the colors- very fall looking. Looks kind of like it could be a HDR but it is not.
Grand Opening:

White House- basic black and white treatement on this one. Colors were pretty dull with the clouds. I liked the graphical shapes of the building.

Way to Go- A hearse parked in front of a funeral parlor in California. It is led by a three wheeled motorcycle. A church across the street in the background (too bad about the parked cars!). That is grass even though it looks like it could be a carpet. Could have used a wider angle on this one but my point and shoot is kind of limited as far as the lens goes.
