Leica M2, SN:98XXXX, a lever rewind, and no self-timer version

I am hesitating to sell this one, but I have decided to use my M5 more frequently.

The camera has just been repainted by Rangefinder Restorations (www.rangefinderrestorations.com/ ). The black paint is smooth, semi gloss, a very durable finish, doesn't show fingerprints. The silver chrome was stripped before the repaint so it will brass beautifully.

I just change the old vulcanite with Aki-Asahi's #4034 Pebble Emboss leather, Great look and handling feel.

There is no dent/crack/scratch on the body. There is a very small depression on the top plate.

Before the repaint, the camera has been CLA'd by Youxin Ye in Dec 2008.

Optics/Viewfinder: The RF patch is clear and snaps into place. The VF is contrasty such that shooting in low light is no trouble. The 35 50 90 framelines come up as expected and individually; the simplicity of the M2 is legendary.

Mechanics: As the M2 was Clean, Lubricated and Adjusted just prior to Christmas 2008, everything is working well. The shutter curtain is fine, the shutter speeds are accurate, there are no light leaks. The smooth working mechanics are a joy in use.

If u need a lens, u can have my CV35/2.5 PII or CV50/2.5 lens (of coz with extra cash).
