Flolight Microbeam LED lighting

Has anyone tried LED lights like this for regular photography instead of conventional flash?
Its a bank of 128 LEDs and equivalent to 100 watt hot lights and can be mounted on a hotshoe.

It seems better with the aluminum construction as compared to the plastic body of Litepanels...

I'm kinda keen in the Flolight Microbeam 128 too...

Can use this to replace a slave flash and use as a continuous light source? is it powerful enough?

Be careful of cheap LED lights. Cheap lights gives color cast that sensors tends to pick up.
