Shoot from the waist camera

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a good shoot from the waist camera for street and candid shooting ?

I am looking at both film and digital. (Coolpix SQ, 990, 995, 4500, Mju II and others)

saw the nikon f series with the removable pentaprisms... that's provided if you want to carry a massive camera
