Default Help needed

Hello guys, I hope this doesn't fall under the category of being a stupid question, but I've been having this sneaky suspicion since the day I got my 450D that the body I have isn't a 'sharp' copy.

Like, when I use the same lens on a different body (say, the 350D), using the exact same settings, the images on the 350D seem sharper, clearer, with better DOF etc etc. It could be psychological (leading to this being a stupid question), or it may not, so I'd like to ask if anyone has encountered any problem like this.

If it indeed is, can the Canon service centre do anything about it?

I believe the CSC can adjust the focusing of the body. Give them a call or bring it down for them to look at?

Don't think it is a dump question.

I have to had my 1ds calibrate often, and yes CSC should be able to help.

By not sharp, are you judging by what you see on the screen of the camera, or are you comparing both on a computer screen? If you are comparing based on what you see on camera screens, then it is an unfair comparison; a small screen will always make images look spiffier

Yeah. Remember that the 450D has a bigger screen but the same number of pixels (230k if i'm not wrong) as the 350D's 2.5" screen.

Check the images on your computer. Or you can upload them here and we'll probably be able to tell better if your body needs to be sent for calibration.

Have you tried using a different lens on the same body?

If I'm not mistaken, 350D has a 2" screen.

Haha of course it's on the computer screen. I can barely see anything on the 350D screen
