Sirui tripod x 1

the 5dm2 stopped shooting on the 3rd day of my trip despite of all the gaffer tape i used on it. damn disappointing. I used my friend's 550d to shoot for the rest of my trip. Even shot in the snow with the 550d at Tasmania.
My advice is to always carry a backup camera body. And also have a compact with you just in case.
Sorry to hear that. Was it the temp or the rain (or both) that caused t? Did you shoot in the weather? What was the temp?Originally Posted by gopperlie
I used a 5D w 16-35 in Yosemite. Dry/10-15degrees celcius. Worked fine until battery door broke (secure with tape).
Moving on, I would love to bring rf for travelling but I dont know how to deal with the lack of focal lengths beyond 50 (R4M). 75? 135?
