Panasonic LZ8...cheap and good does apply to this camera.

Having recently acquired the LZ8 at Mustafa Warehouse Sale for less then $170, i am liking this camera. Its quality is such that friends cant tell the difference between dslr pictures and those taken with the LZ8 and the performance in the dark is pretty impressive even compare with powershot. If you dont mind the time taken between each picture, its a good buy but most of the time i use the burst mode. Greatest selling point...uses AA batteries.

whats the replacement model for the coming year?

Me also got this PnS from Mustafa Warehouse sale.
Got lots of settings too.
Just got Sanyo Eneloop batts to use for LZ8.

Havent seen any Lz series announced thus far.
Think the FS series might be its replacement.
