Default Casinos in Macau

Have been travelling to Macau quite often for work and did not have much chances to take some photos of the casinos there. In my last trip, I finally had some time to take some photos of the casinos in Macau.

Here are some photos taken at Venetian Macau and Grand Lisboa

Venetian Macau
#1 - The hotel lobby

#2 - A huge monument located at the hotel reception counter

#3 - A close up view of the inner side of the monument

#4 - On the left hand side of the hotel lobby is the way leading to the casino

#5 - Escalators connecting the shopping mall to the casino

#6 - The ceiling above the escalators

#7 - The shopping mall inside Four Season Hotel, which is part of the Venetian Macau property. Looks what the weak economy has done to the shopping mall - there is hardly anyone shopping there

Grand Lisboa

This hotel and casino has a huge dome with light display. I found it very interesting and so decided to take a few photos of it with different light displays

Two more photos taken in Venetian Macau

#12 - In Venetian, it is easy to spot a performer in all white standing like a statue. They are known as "Living Statue"

#13 - A close-up shot of Living Statue

Your pictures will serve as a bench mark for our IRs soon to be opened. Nice pictures you've got there. Seems like not so much people, or was it that you'd chosen a much quieter time to do the shooting ?

Thanks! Hopefully our IRs are more happening than those in Macau. In fact, there are a few other interesting ones in Macau like Wynn, Sands, MGM and one more coming soon - City of Dreams. Hopefully, I can take some of these when I'm there again.

I took the shopping mall photo at about 5.30pm, so it should not be a quiet at that time.

Yup, it's definitely affordable. In fact, the cost of the one-way return flight that I took cost $0! Just need to pay airport tax. As for hotel, depending how many stars hotel you wanna stay..hahah..a decent hotel about 3-4 stars will cost about 100-120 per night. For hotel like Venetian, should be about 500-600 per night (only suites), but price may have gone down abit now.

I would not recommend for kids as there is not much places for kids, Hong Kong is a better alternative. Will post more of other casinos after my next trip...Cheers!
