Thx for the tip. I need to check out the filter. Not sure if it is coated.

The Pentax 110 was Pentax's smallest SLR camera, and the smallest interchangeable lens SLR with TTL metering ever made.
The camera has a proper TTL viewfinder, split image rangefinder focusing, programmed auto exposure using a center weighted metering silicon photo diode with shutter speeds from 1 sec to 1/750th, an exposure range of EV 3 to 17 at ASA 100, with an aperture range from f/2.8 to f/13.5. There were 6 lenses available, and the 24mm f/2.8 standard lens shown here (equivalent to 50mm on 35mm film) has a very smooth focusing ring with distance scales, has 6 elements in 5 groups, focuses down to 0.35m and weighs... a mere 13 grams!

Hey Denis, that's a very cool looking camera I saw a set on eBay right now at 100usd. If we still can get 110 film and find place to develop them, I might just grab it

110 negative film available locally at http://perlyinc.com/store/index.php?cPath=39 with local pickup. Heard that Kim Tian does developing and scanning at $12 (unconfirmed).

Had bid on Ebay for the Super version and hope to receive it soon after a long delay.

Good to know 110 film can be found locally. Thanks for the heads up CY_OH.
Yeah the Super version is the more recent and harder to find version. It has the self timer/shutter lock switch and red self timer led on the front.
Whichever version of Auto 110 camera is just a small wonder. Mine is in perfect working condition but even if it wasn't, I'd still keep it as a piece of Pentax and photographic history.

Cool Denis, you bought this little cute camera. I was once tempted to buy one also but decide to give it a miss.

Probably still can get the 110 firm as some of the Holga toy cameras uses it. i saw the Kodak ultra 110 firm 400 sells around $10 in Pageone at vivocity.

Thanks Des... the ISO 400 film is what I'm looking for...
BTW the 110 format is much like the 4/3 format... lenses have a 2x crop factor when compared to 35mm film. The DOF of 110 film is pretty wide so street snaps are easy.

If only Pentax could release a digital version - can fight head on to the PEN.
