heard that it is quite good? any idea on price for canon mount?

approx 1k, but it's one of the best ever seen to date. distortion well controlled with good quality glass

the canon version is huge and expensive. perhaps this would work.

sure its that cheap?

from what i've seen on kakaku.com, its around 1.7k converted from yen.

unless you're talking about the one without the HSM. the new version has HSM.

new model... there is a review on fengniao.com that the sigma really kicked canon's ass

yea its an expensive sigma lens..... i got mine at $1445 at AP Funan Centre. Got an E-quote from MScolor at $1475.

U got is canon mount or nikon? Are they the same price?

A quick one of my cat, image quality is excellent. 70mm F2.8, however i will not be posting any 100% crops for now as it is really dark and high iso on the camera doesn's show off the len's sharpness.
