fantastic timing and sharp (I assume you used manual pre-focussing?) !
I did attempt such shots previously but without success - so I know how difficult it is to get such shots - since the dragonfly is so small and fast!

Thank you for all your kind words and encouragement. Yes, I did a pre-manual focusing and waited for the dragonfly to fly into the focusing area before clicking. Luck was with me too when the dragonfly flew into my focusing zone.

you nitpicking on the wings?
it's not as if your fingers can time w the flapping of the wings.

capturing the body in flight itself is an amazing feat!
