Just tried out my new teleconverter for SBWR use on Saturday.

No auto focus is a pain, but it started my learning in manual focusing. Been putting that off for long now

    No more excuses!

Wait for full moon. Btw, how come your moon is yellow? What WB you are using?

I'm doing an interest check for a 2D1N Pengerang trip.

Saturday to Sunday. For the trip to happen, at least 10 pax.

I had interest from our 1000D kakis. I shall see the responses here.

Accomodation is a beachside chalet with 3 bedroom. Dinner provided is BBQ by the chalet IIRC. The cost is RM420 per chalet. This cost is to be share equally among the numbers of people going.

Shades, the warmest of all the settings

Full moon won't be good for shots though, least numbers of visible craters.

    Kenko 2X, like everybody advocates.

I had too many full moon shots already, that's why I tried this tonight.

Perhaps can try taping the 2 pins to achieve AF.

Really nice, did you use TC?

By the way, this is what I mean by cannot see craters clearly. Because the moon is full and bright, the lack of shadows made the craters less visible.

Can't be helped. Unless you reduce the exposure timing, will most probably make the moon much dull in colour.
