Take your last utility bill and a pocket calculator. Is it really that hard to do a little bit of maths?

the cost of fungus clearing of one dslr plus one lens will definably more then the dry cabinet, and it can happen in matter of couple of weeks time if the condition is right for fungus to grow.

do you wish to decide buy a dry cabinet after that? spending double?

The main reason to get a dry cabinet is to minimize the risk of fungus.
I'm sure you'll agree that that reason is worth it.

Think you shud get the box first.
Lens can always later on then buy.
However, if you can't take any photos if your camera has fungus.
    Just my advise.

That will just give you a false sense of security. Most camera bags are far from airtight (unless you have a Pelican case or similar). And the SILICA gel you're talking about is already saturated i.e. will not absorb any more moisture.
If you need an interim solution, use an AIRTIGHT container (tupperware?) and some silica gel (can get from photo shops -- the type that is blue when dry and changes to light pink when saturated). Note that the silica gel can itself be a source of dust (esp if it fragments when heated too fast), so don't just pour it all over your equipment.

An please do a search before asking.

Do yourself a favour and search "Dry cabinet". I believe there is enough material for you to read and ponder.

Consider it to be a necessary accessory for DSLR
Especially in humid country like Singapore

Bro, Singapore electricity cost around 0.22cents/KW

If you try to compute that for a month running 24 hours a day:
    5x.22x24x31/1000 =0.82 cents per month

That's all you need to set aside to have a fungus free lens.
    Go and get one now!

    My answer: Yes.

It is an insurance for your camera to prevent fungus and molds.

If you forsee your equipment to be used fairly frequently, get a dry cabinet, else, a dry box/case works well for storage mostly.
