Ask your pets to do it for you.

    Doesn't always work.

Got people set-up sniping programs. That also don't need. Ebay itself offers a proxy bidder for you tp auto out-bid others, so it just depends on the ceiling you key-in.

One thing though I wonder about ... can they trace clone accounts who pad up bids? I know that some folks even ask their friends to deliberately bid a certain amount to up the prices.

    Strategy ha? Hmmmm

bid at the last seconds and bid the maximum you can afford. Don't get into a bidding war as you will keep paying more coz of ego

    Be careful of auto bidding.

It will outbid you at the last minute leaving you no time to put in another bid.

I find it better to bid on weekday and during working hours if you're at home as there'll less bidders.

That's why I said put the maximum you are willing to spend. If you get outbid, move on.

Hmm I thought about doing that then realised that all the ebay auctions ended when it was night for us and day for them in US.

Set-up the auto-bid only at the last minutes like within the last 30 seconds. If not, bid war liao.

Most of them start their listing in the afternoon/early evening, so with a 12-hr diff ... man, no fun having to wake up specially to bid at 4.69am when you normally wake up at 6.30am, and then loose the bid!

    Not on ebay leh.

Yeah, but the inflation and wars start with the )*^(*& that key in bids earlier. Usually, some will try manual sniping, and some who probably already know what they want to/can spend on an item will last minute auto-bid. You get all sorts, but from what i notice, last-min auto bid is the most commonly used these days.

think the best easiest way to win a bid = buy from ppl who can end bid before the time kind, or from shops...
