No need to buy macro lens, just crop and can get 2:1 magnification
I need to make super big prints for my clients!
I'm a sports/birder/wild-life shooter, need to crop lah.
Just want but actually don't need more...
I thought bigger was always better... :S
So I can sell XXL size in stock photos sites!
But.... currently I am still using 8MP cam...
Your fastest camera is as fast as your slowest lens
I do prints ranging from A1 to A0, and stretch them on frames - inspection distance is rather close sometimes - like newspaper reading distance, so a higher resolution helps in this case. I shoot in ideal conditions so I can fully make use of the sensor resolution most of the time.
that's why iPhone still 2MP
personally; 10MP is enough for me. Not really a printing kind of person; but even if i print my pictures; they are usually de standard 4R sizes save money mah
Playing with M43.
Wah...so advanced now. Poor man like me can only afford a 'lousy' 6MP KM5D.
Minolta. Konica Minolta. Sony
I was hoping there is an option that says "I dun want more MP".
i want a eos d30
clog up my processors and load my cards to the max.
sounds sadist, but it feels gd knowing u captured more stuff in a shot and have more data to work with later on. more room to play with i feel.
but the irony is, most of the time i can't be bothered -- i just shoot in 5 or 6 MP.
cameras are not made of tofu
12Mp is plenty enough for me. But don't mind more (good quality pixels) -- can't lose out to point and shoots lah...
I have 21MP to shoot at 11MP. Pixel for pixel, due to the Bayer interpolation pattern, it wont resolve at the rated resolution.
