Can't decide which to get. Will be scanning both 35mm & 120mm films/slides. Color and b/w.
Anyone had both before that can share your experience using them? Pros & cons between the 2? |

Used both. The quality impression is same as reviewer explained in PCpro.co.uk:http://www.pcpro.co.uk/reviews/12884...can-8800f.html
Quoted: "Scanning these at 2,400dpi (giving scans equivalent to around eight megapixels), the 8800F failed to live up to its initial impressions as a speed demon. We waited for just under 20 minutes for all eight of our frames to be captured, although the quality of the final slides matched that of our reflective sources. Colours are well reproduced, with a pleasing lack of grain. Again, the Epson Perfection V350 trumps it for quality, managing darker, richer colours, leaving the Canon's images looking over-exposed by comparison." For Epson, as indicated by thier pricing, V500 is a higher range as compared to V350. Hope it helps^^
